Founder & Clinical Director
Felicia is the founder of Embracing Wellness and a trauma-focused, EMDR-trained therapist. She works with individuals navigating Trauma/C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, immigration and first generation experiences, and chronic stress. Felicia provides therapy to clients in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.
Jacqueline Cox, LGSW, LMSW, C-AAIS (they/she)
Therapist in DC & Maryland
Jacqueline provides trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ experiences, identity, and life transitions. They integrate narrative therapy, CBT, mindfulness-based practices, and nature-based and animal-assisted approaches into their work.
LaShauna Dean, Ph.D., LPC, ACS, NCC (she/her)
Therapist & Clinical Supervisor in Maryland, Virginia & New Jersey
LaShauna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor. She supports adults navigating trauma, grief and loss, aging and later-life transitions, anxiety, and identity-based stress. She integrates Existential Therapy, CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches.
Tiffanie Sutherlin, PhD, LPC, ACS, NCC (she/her)
Therapist in Virginia
Tiffanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. She works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, family-of-origin concerns, medical anxiety, and life transitions. Tiffanie incorporates CBT, ACT, EFT, EMDR, and solution focused approaches.

Practice Operations Manager
Rheana serves as Practice Operations Manager at Embracing Wellness, supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the practice. Often one of the first points of contact, she assists with managing inquiries, scheduling, waitlists, and practice communications with warmth and professionalism.
Christina Hamilton (she/her)
Summer Intern
Christina is a fourth-year Psychology student at Hampton University. As an intern, she supports community outreach initiatives, social media, and practice operations while expanding her knowledge of culturally grounded, trauma-informed care.
