FAQ

What is the mission of Embracing Wellness?
Embracing Wellness LLC is dedicated to providing holistic, trauma-informed therapy services. We focus on healing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and offer personalized care.
What is trauma-informed care, and why is it important?
Trauma-informed care is an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and understands potential paths for recovery. It emphasizes safety, trustworthiness, and empowerment. By using a trauma-informed approach, we ensure that our therapy sessions are sensitive to your needs and experiences, helping to foster a supportive and healing environment.
Do I need a diagnosis to receive therapy?
No. Therapy is not only for people with diagnoses. Many clients come for support, healing, growth, or stress management. If a diagnosis is required for insurance purposes, this will be discussed openly and collaboratively.
How often will we meet?
Session frequency is individualized and may be weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed. This is something we decide together and adjust over time.
What should I expect during my first therapy session?
Your first session is an initial assessment where we’ll discuss your background, current challenges, and therapy goals. This session helps us understand your unique needs and tailor our approach to best support your journey.
Do you offer in person sessions?
At this time, all services are provided via secure telehealth. We do not offer in-person sessions.
