Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

A structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess unhealed trauma so distressing memories lose their intensity.

EMDR is recognized for its effectiveness in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms, and is endorsed by the American Psychological Association (APA) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

How EMDR Works

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation such as guided eye movements, tapping, or auditory cues to support the brain’s natural healing process, helping you move from survival mode to healing mode.

What to Expect

In each session, you’ll briefly focus on a target memory while engaging in bilateral stimulation such as visual tracking or alternating taps. Many clients notice meaningful relief in fewer sessions compared to traditional talk therapy.
