Supportive. Reflective. Culturally Responsive.

Supervision & Consultation

Clinical Supervision

At Embracing Wellness, I offer clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians in DC that honors both the clients we serve and the clinicians doing the work. I’ve held several leadership roles throughout my career and deeply understand the value of quality, supportive supervision. My approach centers reflection, growth, and cultural responsiveness and is grounded in the belief that supervision should nourish the clinician as much as it strengthens their clinical work.

Whether you're working toward licensure, expanding your clinical lens, or seeking ongoing professional guidance, supervision with me provides a grounded, growth-oriented space to explore your identity as a therapist, build confidence in your clinical skills, and process this work with care.

My Approach

As a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and relationally driven therapist, my supervision style is collaborative, reflective, and deeply rooted in justice, healing, and authenticity. I hold space for:

  • Developing clinical formulation and case conceptualization

  • Deepening trauma-informed, culturally responsive care

  • Navigating imposter syndrome, burnout, and vicarious trauma

  • Exploring identity, power, and systemic dynamics in the therapy room

  • Integrating theory with real-world practice

  • Building sustainable, ethical, liberatory practice

Pro bono ASWB exam prep included!

Who I Supervise

  • Pre-licensed clinicians (MSW, LMSW, etc.) working toward independent licensure

  • Early-career therapists seeking a grounded and affirming supervisory relationship

  • Clinicians looking to grow their practice skills, reconnect with their purpose, and serve clients with integrity

I especially welcome Black, Brown, queer, first-gen, and justice-aligned therapists navigating the complexities of this work in a system that wasn’t built with us in mind. This is a space where you don’t have to code-switch, shrink, or overexplain.

Logistics

  • Format: Individual supervision (virtual, with occasional in-person availability in DC).

  • Frequency: Weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and/or licensure requirements

  • Rate: $100/hour (Sliding scale options available for BIPOC clinicians experiencing economic hardship)

  • Documentation: I provide documentation of hours and feedback to meet licensure board requirements

Clinical Consultation

At Embracing Wellness, I provide clinical consultation services specifically designed for licensed mental health professionals who are seeking thoughtful, collaborative support and guidance. Whether you are navigating complex clinical dynamics, struggling with countertransference, feeling stuck or overwhelmed in your work, or hoping to grow and expand your therapeutic practice, consultation offers a dedicated space where you can process, reflect deeply, and foster professional growth. This supportive environment is aimed at helping you enhance your skills, increase your confidence, and ultimately provide the best care for your clients.

My Approach

Together, we’ll explore various ways to deepen your clinical insight, enhance your therapeutic presence, and build greater endurance when managing challenging cases. Our collaborative work will focus on cultivating clarity, curiosity, and confidence in your clinical decision-making process. We’ll gently examine the internal narratives and expectations that often arise in your work, particularly those connected to client outcomes, professional identity, or the emotional demands embedded within the therapeutic relationship. Additionally, we will thoughtfully explore the thoughts and feelings related to imposter syndrome that can surface when beginning your private practice journey.

  • Early-career therapists seeking a grounded and affirming supervisory relationship

  • Clinicians looking to decolonize their practice, reconnect with their purpose, and serve clients with integrity
